1 - the logo is very small, took me some time to discover it.
2 - site's too dark and therefore difficult to read.

I second that. Make the logo larger and put it top left above the muskets. There's space there and it won't affect the pic. Brand recognition is the first step in making a successful site. Otherwise it's a nice design and I wish you luck.

    Rod,

I tried to visit arthritispainreliefselfhelp.com and found nothing. Site down perhaps? It's not that I have arthritis, just wanted to let you know.

What happens if you stop using php?

How are you going to submit the sites to directories (most won't accept anything but the front page links, and they may not check to see that this is actually the front page)?

Do you expect your users to remember to type that in?

    It's good practice!

I cannot have that php includes script on a .html extension. So I needed to use .php however my forum takes the index.php so I made it use indexweb.php.

    I have a index.html, but it points to indexweb.php

But yeah I know what you mean, anyone know how I can get this to work off of html? Because I need to use that php includes for the news content that you see there.

    Thanks

just include this in your .htaccess:

    AddType application/x-httpd-php .html
    AddType application/x-httpd-php .htm

or if possible I would move the forum to a separate folder.

Seems there is not much difference (contrast) between background and font colors. Hence difficult to read.

Now that you've done that you can just point people to:

    www.ao3paradise.com

    Nobody has to type /anything.anything!

good use of graphics in the right context, they portray a sense of community and invite you in with a warm glow that says' come, join this forum'
