This is a test page im working on--for me its basically an excercise as I learn. What im concerned with most is SEO of the page itself and adsense targeting. How can I improve it, what have I done wrong or poorly?
Make your message clear. After reading 2 paragraphs, I still don't know what your site was about, so I gave up. So you bought a lemon, brew lemonade! Rule n°1: don't waste your users time, tell them what what your site is about and what you have to offer. Don't forget, a user has the same attention span as a gold fish.
Thank you -I know it isnt the best page written for users -- but as I said, the page is only a test page, and the purpose is to learn SEO and Adsense targeting, I only care about what google might think of the page.
google is showing a public service ad on ur page ... i guess google too didnot understand ur page ... problem is if users dont visit and read ur matter, they wont click on ur ads and if they dont click, it doesnot matter what ads are shown ... Just a suggestion...
thanks - but once again, the page isnt made for users per say - its made to attract certain KW ads from google, wshich it isnt doing....and I dont know why
Well, you have to target the copy a little better... Remember, you're not just telling People what the page is about, you're telling MediaBot too I got PSA's about Gorrilla's :? I suggest you reword some of the copy to make it more targetted for KW's
joeychgo, There are going to be a lot of people with a problem with what you said above. BTW, you can use the Google AdSense Sandbox Tool on DP to see what ads your pages might attract. Find it at http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/adsense-sandbox/ Using the sandbox, you will find out what ads your page should attract. Apparently, none. Your keyword is Lemon Law, there might be no advertisers for it. Do you feel otherwise? Ajeet
Maybe its been misunderstood. The original point of the page was to develop and test my SEO and Adsense skills. (and thats the kind of advice I was asking for) Simple. There is nothing wrong with writing relevant content and designing the pages to get the best paying keywords for that content. I run a car owners site, so lemon laws are relevant to my site. If I started writing about cancer and publishing that then I could see your point. SO - that said - Im asking for opinions on how the SEO and Adsense SEO is on this page:
Well, as we have said, there IS something wrong with the copy, because you wouldn't be triggering PSA's otherwise... Maybe no one is paying for ads about "lemon laws". I suggest you take everyone's advice.
Everyone has given advice... Rewrite the copy, and twarget another phrase... Clearly "Lemon Law" isn't getting any adwords targetting it. So move on and try something else... Like everyone so far has said, the page is not clear. I don't even know what Lemon law is, and your page should explain that better.
I understand what your saying --- and im gonna clarify the text - but I dont think thats the problem. I think its just that there are no Lemon Law ads - but other similar sites DO have ads -- so im trying to see how I should figure out how to modify the page - what needs to be there that isnt, to get the ads targeted.......... the page is NOT currently for users - I plan to clean up the text - but thats mostly reorganization...........
