    Hi all,

I just created this blog and theme for a friend...
I'm looking for suggestions on what colours to use for what you see in red and beige at the moment. I coded the site with pretty plain colours and asked her to get back to me with what colours she would like. (I am not a designer!)

Well, she got back to me this morning with the colours for the background parts and I think it now looks totally awful!
I don't have any suggestion for her what colours would be better though, so I was hoping you guys might be able to help. Just a couple of notes, the text hasn't been styled yet and the background stays as it is.

The site is Click Clack Gorilla

    Thanks

Did you read the bit in my original post when I said I hadn't styled the text yet and was purely looking for suggestions on the 2 background colours? :)

    Hi there...

Infortunately, I agree with you it - does look awful. The red and beige colors don't look so hot...

I was thinking that perhaps if you pick up the bluish gray color from the background and then go to www.colorschemer.com/online.html to get a complimentary color palette for your site, that might help. I use the color-schemer all the time when I'm stuck :)

See if you can have a plain background
    OR
You may want to disable that transparency.

Even though, you haven't worked on text yet, it would be difficult to read with this combination.

    Just a suggestion.
