Your open database game is really a very great idea for the games lover as well as the database developers. But the design of your site is too simple. Please make it more attractive.
The idea behind the design is to give the content the main frame, for example on the browsing pages: http://mygdb.net/games.php?all=&genre=action. I do understand where some of you are coming from however so I will into trying out other design methods.
First off, great idea. Glad to see something unique being presented to the games community. As far as business goes, I'd say you're gonna need to add many more fields for the games to be filled in. People will only use the service if it truly provides great information. Try giving hi-res screens, hi-res box art, links to reviews and maybe even something like metacritic, interviews, etc. Make it into the most valuable service possible. In terms of design it looks great though, clean and simple and the game nav pages are nicely done. Congrats.
