Please review this Forex-related website

Hi all!

I've just launched a website, ForexNewbies.com, and I'd like to hear your overall feedback on the color scheme and layout in general. My general feeling is that the left side needs more graphics, do you agree and if so, do you think I should keep adding images or just enriching the color scheme on the left side?

I think the layout looks good, and the colors are easy on the eyes making the text easy to read.

I see what you mean about the left side, I get the same feeling. I like the background styling on the "Just launched" posting, and I think that same look could be used for the articles, too. It would give some contrast on that left side...just a thought.

Otherwise, looking good...

It might just be me but where it says « Older Entries
At bottom. It looks out a place. Its half on and half off the line

 

i know nothing about forex.. but i did like the forum color scheme

 

Thanks you're right Affilit, i should change the background where it says "Older entries"... I'll do that soon.

 

the layouts and design is simple but good. you have to change the older entries background.

Try to add 468 x 60 adsense banner above the top pages menu.

just my opinion..

 

Title and Logo area can be designed with different color like mild pink or orange (not yellow).

Try a Horizontal adsense ad in between or beginning of posts.

 

I don't know, I don't like the idea of stuffing it with AdSense, it makes it harder to focus on the content... I was rather thinking about ContentLink ads instead, what do you think?

 

Great forex newbie site, and a great domain, the content is very clear - are you writing your own content ?
You should add rates and charts links to your site though, you can check eToro widgets (in my signature).
forum us a little thin, you might consider linking to eToro forum, and get paid for the traffic.

well for this kinda site dont put adsense otherwise it will loook cheap

I think a blue color like your header banner all the way around would look better. It just needs something around the white side of the site.
