Please review the placement of my ads, thanks :)

    Hi there!

I'm all new to this area and as I have started a new website, called http://theweightblog.com which is basically about weight loss where I'm going to write articles and try and collect all information about it in one single place, I thought I needed some ads to cover the hosting/domain fees.

I have placed three ads/page and I was wondering whether or not they are placed good or not.

    Thanks!

place the ads before starting of any article, after the first heading. it will increase the click through rate.

I would suggest relying on another tactic than ads to make money. Unless you get massive traffic, you probably won't see enough click throughs.
With your niche, you can offer diet or health affiliate programs or even write one yourself and sell it.

I agree that it would be good if it was placed in the top or bottom of the article. Try picture and text-only to see if a picture would be too much for the page.

I would have the first ad block on the left and the second on the right. If you can add a picture / photo with some text ads below. I do think you need more detailed content otherwise i can't see you getting enough visitors to make money from this.

I think you have excellent ad placement

I would recommend you use the Wordpress Permalinks setting to change your post URLs to include the posts title. This will improve your search engine rankings for your sub-pages.

    Hey men!

So I got an Ezinearticle published and I have a lot more articles now (avg. 1 per day) and I still only get 1-2 unique visitor per day where one of them is me.... So only occasionally I get one viewer... What do you think is wrong? I have done some linking through comments.

    Thanks!

Placement on your first and third ad (the one on the top of your posts) are fine. I would change the colors a bit to make it fit within your content to gain a higher CTR.
