Please review the load time on my weather page

Hi,

I have a weather page that is php, java and image heavy and am looking for your feedback as to whether the load time is acceptable or not. My connection is questionable to say the least so its hard for me to get a good idea of the load time. I've checked out my page at websiteoptimization.com/services/analyze/ and it tells me load times are not good, but I don't trust them as much as I trust you. If you concur I will implement image sprites and more sub domain image calls to trick the browsers.

Load time is higher for even for my connection 2mbps,
Do change the image formats to png, will reduce the memory considerably,

Load time (in Italy) is not so fast (35 sec. all the page to load).

 

in US, took about 20 seconds - kind of frustrating...

 

need more patience to access this web, very slowly...

yeah it takes around 10 seconds to load... Try to make it fast buddy
