-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After a month of hard work and a lot of capital, the Authority Directory is finally ready to be seen. The designer just finished the new custom template. I like it, but I am biased. Now we would like to know your opinion. If you wouldn't mind, please take a couple minutes and check it out. Then let me know what you think here. This is not completely finished, there will be a few additional mods added to it in the very near future. One addition probably coming within the next week. I would like that to be today, but the programmers are busy and will get them in soon. I will check back occasionally for comments. Thank you!
My first impression was that it was a bit too arty. But dude you stand out. There are so many 'Web2.0' type sites yours really does change the way to do business. I love the way you actually tell me what I need to know as a client. The way you've intertwined the articles into the site is something special too. Proper content for a proper directory - not just a $25 (or free) script with no thought just 'give me $1 and you will earn millions'. I like the template now. Even more once I've been around the site. The links stick out just right. One criticism: You don't have a clear home button or back to the frontpage button. That will confuse. I thought to myself - hey, I think I will go add my link. Um, $4.95 is a bit steep for a new directory. I would be happy to trade a link though - I think you call it reciprocal. secretdownload - thanks so much for your in depth review. I have many more plans for this site and it is only going to get better there. In honor of the time you took to do this review I have opened up the recip option for free, but will only keep it there for a short time. Thanks again!
It looks great but the server is veeeery slow. Your template has alot of commented html in it. Seems unnecessary to have it there after go live. I wonder, too, at the pricing even for established directories. I'd open it up for a bit and get some listings before putting the prices in there. Even recip links are paid!
