    The blue bar doesn't look too good.. especially with the photograph. Try looking for a photograph for the background instead.

    agree with 8everything. The color of the blue bar is not so neat; it is not compatible with the golden header either.

    The site is 1.0ish....

    Upgrade the design I would say...Come to Gen X :p

    To me the blue bar provides a nice accent to the site's design.
