Clean and professional looking website. You need to tease someone into join it, something that will benefit them and make you better than your competition. When someone does a search on google and they compare your site with your competition...what makes you better???

You have only 5 seconds to get their attention and keep them prisoner, I know...make a video (even if it is with a webcam), telling about the benefits of your site. Put in in the middle of the frontpage above the fold so others will enjoy watching it and make your message such as, "You cannot live without my website"!!!
