Please review our new handmade designer jewelry site (BlueLuxe.com)

    Hi. We just launched our new handmade designer jewelry store and would love to get some feedback. Our store is based on an osCommerce template which we then modified. The store is live so please don't make any test purchases (though feel free to go through the checkout process w/o completing it, to let us know what you think).

    We are looking for two main sets of comments:

    1. general design/layout comments
    2. specific to shopping online, is there anything bad/missing/etc. about our site that doesn't make you feel safe and secure and therefore wouldn't want to buy from us?

    We are already in the process of getting a toll-free 800# and adding a shipping estimate to the shopping cart.

    I don't really like the grey you used for the BG, and it probably would look better if the site stretched all the way to the top and bottom.

    But the "main" section looks good, nice and clean

    Yeah... Its layout look very simple and help the clients very easy to navigate......... In my opinion you want to make the page "What Is In Your Heart?" more colorful...... Any way congrats on your job..... Bet of luck.....

    1. The design is pretty oldish. If you use a modern design, it would be better.
    2. The only thing that would keep me from buying is the design. Even if its much more cheaper than other places. Because if your design ain't good, that means you're not professionals. Your site looks 6-7 years behind its time. Other than that ,there's nothing else. Your checkout url is ssl secured, so thats something that would confide me.

    Ok first, you have a good collection of jewelry there and according to me even the price seems moderate, But your site needs a lot of color and designs.
    Because seriously your site doesn't make me feel the craving for buying the stuff, look up-to some Branded Jewelry sites i believe you will know what exactly i am talking about... For a start the site is ok ok but you will need to be more professional to gain sales and recognition of your site...

    P.S: No hard feelings, just giving my Point of view.. All the best :D
