Please review- not sure about template

hi guys

just bought a new domain name and this is my first blog

adsenseaddict.com

Please may i have your opinion on the template. Not too concerned at the moment with content as this will be added in the next few days as well as other w/p plugins .

I have been thinking about this for days and i am not sure weather to go with a new hi tech colored template or just a sort of plain blog template so readers focus more on the text.????

I actually, don't exactly like to template. My main reason being that it has almost nothing to do with adsense. I think you should look around.. There are some nice wordpress templates at e-lusion.com.

me too i think the design is just fine.... if you just wanna make it look a little better I would suggest having margins left and right.....good luck... adsense tips and tricks is the in thing now anyways so you can't go wrong... cheers

 

I think you need more colors. The life is so colorfull

 

Yeah, i agree with squich. The header is too simple.

 

I think the colors are too plain and the layout is really big. Maybe shrink it down to one sidebar containing your links and what not. As for the layout design check out smashingmagazine.com and look for wordpress themes. They have collections of beautiful and simple designs.

 

I like this a one a lot more, it looks a lot more uniformed to what you're going to be doing with it. you just need to fill it up with content and such so that it doesnt look so white and blank.

 

I would consider getting a logo made and perhaps taking down a few ads, they are annoying and get in the way of your content. You probably aren't getting much traffic anyways, so there should be no worry about losing money.

 

The person above me has a point. It's usually smart to just get some traffic to your site and THEN add some ads to your site. I would also suggest a new logo, I can make one for you pm me and we might be able to work something out.
