This week I launched the Indian version of Newsbabl.com, a Pligg site that collects a few items of Indian news automatically and also allows users to add their own stories. http://in.newsbabl.com It's the standard Pligg 1.0 theme with some customisation.
You should do something with http://newsbabl.com/ because is nothing there, maybe redirect to http://in.newsbabl.com/ until you develop it.

The white with the blue doesn't work too well. The blue streeses the eyes on the pure white background. Concider going to on offwhite instead of pure white. Overall the layout is pretty nice and spread out. Try to make link bar stay on one line and not two. 7/10
Site with absolutely no graphics yet decent. You can use some color for header background. no graphics means quick to load. spot on. One more thing - do you have any script on your site that refresh data. because i observed my cursor was blicking every few seconds.
There's a script that makes the background color switch, it's a module I found on the official Pligg site. What browser are you using because on Firefox for Mac my cursor doesn't blink. I'm gonna keep it low on visuals/graphics for a few weeks at least, then I might look for a cool theme but for now I'm keeping it simple.
