I just launched a new blog at www.FadMarketing.com yesterday. It's using the Gridlock WP theme, with a few edits. I belive I finally have it set up where it's displaying ok in both FF and IE. If it's not showing up right for someone, please let me know. Also, my big concern now is whether the background color is too much, and if I should perhaps mute it a bit. Any thoughts? Thanks.
I really like your site. It shows up correctly for me in FF. The BG is definitely bold and bright but it doesn't scare me away.
The positioning of the site elements are great, the only thing I don't like is the oragne background. Maybe replace it with skyblue or put there a picure of a writing feather or so. Post again after you make some changes so we can make another review again.
Hey, this blog is pretty nice I actually like the orange/white/black color scheme, it makes the site look bold! Suggestions: - For the text on your header, move it to the right a bit, I think it's too close to the edge - For the right side of your blog, try to make the table a bit smaller so the spacing between the line and about (on the left) is the same on the right (at the moment, the right has a larger spacing..) Looking good
I definitely want that "bold" feel, and most people here and in another thread seem to like the orange well enough. I'd thought of changing it to red (and the logo), but the red on white, w/ blue links is overdone already on marketing sites. Thanks for the feedback. I moved the logo to the right a bit, and adjusted the sidebar. It's centered, and I actually opted to remove the vertical divider completely, b/c it was displaying a bit odd in IE. But that aspect of the layout should hopefully be better now. Jenn
