    Hello-

I'm looking for a few good man or women to test drive my new site. This is a new job posting site that should go live in about 5 weeks. Please feel free to browse around and give me your honest opinion.

Below are a few things to take into consideration:

    1) This is a BETA site, so if a few sections of the site does not work it's ok.
    2) If you decide to create a user account , please take into cosideration that once we go "Live" all accounts and posting will be delete.

3)If you decide to create an account please note that your information will be kept confidential and once we go live all information will be deleted. Not worry about spam or newsletter sing up.

Thank you all for your input.

Good use of colour. I dont think the top left image of the girl in front of the hollywood sign is working, it didnt seem to make sense.

The domain name looks good to (from the header on the site) good luck with it.

The lady on your top left will be an animated character. I had to put a temp pic in there to fill the space. Soon a different character will be available and of course something that relates to the site.

    Thanks for your review.

The design looks too crowded for me. I'd prefer using unique designs on all my sites.

i like the design. everything is presented pretty concisely. i must agree with the other on the girl on the top left though. she is pretty random.

I like the site... very clean.. does look alot like a templete... but I guess that a compliment right.. I wish I could desgn as good as those profesional temlpetes... I don have a quesion, since your creating a Job Board, I could se your advice.. I don't want to leach off of your Thread so I'll just provide a link...

This is a job Board I'm working on.. I could use some advice from someone who has already done what I'm trying to do..

I'd suggest if you make the UI clearer and cleaner it would be better off.

Haven't looked too much into the functional part, I think for such job listing site, marketing should be an important factor to be successful. How are you planning on it?

Are you talking about UI (user interface)?

I'll try to get listed in a few directories and use google PPC and News Annoucement. It will be interesting to see how many results I'll get.

yeah, i believe there is too much variation among colors used although they're close to each other, i'd also suggest using lighter colors.

I love the layout. Some of the text (white) on the lighter teal backgrounds is a little washed out, but I can make it out pretty well. Good luck.

Thanks for your input. I've added the oddcast character to my site. What color would go best in the frame where the character and with the rest of the site? Right now I have a light yellow.

Please check it out and let me know.

Any other comments? The site should go live in two weeks. One last question I have for you is the download time. Is it reasonable for you?

Download time is fine for me. The sitepal/oddcast character is a good addition. The only thing that worries me is the domain name since it's so long and complicated, might not have as many return customers as you would hope. Overall design is good though

Thank you. I think the name is just fine. It is a catchy name and easy to remember. Have you checked "CAREERBUILDER.COM"? I think that's even harder to remember, but time will tell.

Thanks again for your two cents.
