I'd like to know what you think about what's there, what shouldn't be there and what should be there. For testing purposes when you sign up your account is automatically a paid account. All you need to sign up is a valid e-mail address and a password. When uploading files a progress bar is displayed to indicate how far along your file is. You can e-mail links to your friends so they can download your files. A couple missing things is the ability to change your password and to retrieve your password. Those will be there in the next day or so.
It seems respectfully functional but I feel you would get more sign-ups if you personalized it more, add an about us page
The red font clashes with the green header. Needs something more in the header. Maybe a logo? An image? Or something personal? The contact page has orange font color that do not go with the orange header. Over all a nice, simple design. I find there are too many colors that do not match. Maybe add something to the background? The header definitely needs work. Good luck!
You have a well built layout, but the color scheme needs work. Also try to make the fonts smaller. Add some style to the links and work more on your header. Perhaps add a logo or something. When you combine the colors I suggest to choose the colors from your header.
When I build sites, the graphics and color scheme are last on the list to be taken care of. They can be mighty ugly for the first month or so. One of the technical features of the site is the ability to have it automatically balance the storage load between any number of hard drives. Right now it says 40GB total available space. The drive its working off of has more space than that. And if I need even more I just can hook up another drive either over the network or through USB. I figure by the time I need another 500GB of space or more I should have enough paid members/ad revenue to cover the cost. The software is also smart enough not to save the same file more than once on the storage space. Every file that is uploaded is saved using the MD5 hash of the file as the filename. Only to the users does the file have a real name. So if a popular file gets uploaded by 1 million people, as far as storage space is concerned, it was only uploaded once.
