Please review my WIP site for Beginners

    There is my site, I am thinking it may be TOO plain? It is not meant to be a big money site, it is meant to teach others, so I am not sure, but I want it to look really good (and become a little more completed!) before I invest in it other than time.

    Also, when looking through the beginner content, notice my custom google search (the first link is to results, the other links are to the search) is this within the TOS if it is for my users and my benefit?

    Thanks in advance, I am trying to teach people from $0 to hundreds a month, then eventually thousands. Note that I've got a digg on there too <3 lol

    How would you improve this site? And, I know, it hasn't helped anyone yet, but saying it would help to motivate the users.

    The site looks unprofessional and the page looks crammed.

    - You should get a professional template for the site.

    - You should have more negative space on the page.

    I guess you're right about the look of it, I can definitely put more work into the template, or grab one and transfer my content to it. But the negative space?

    Hello, let's see some ways you can improve.

    - First you need some contrast in there. Contrast in colors, contrast in fonts. The text it's almost the same everyware. I'm not talking about that one that it's well integrated with google ads, but about the menu, titles, and the one that must draw the eye. Remember that contrast draws the eye to it. Try to use those colors better too, even bring in some new ones.
    - The layout could be wider.

    Why don't you convert it into a wordpress blog? There are lot's of free wordpess blog templates available , so you can change the look of the whole site in minutes. Just an idea.

    I don't want to invest into a hosting plan yet (I want more going on before I do) but can you say more about the wordpress thing? blogetery or wordpress direct? even better?

    And, still unsure of what is "negative space"
