I just made this website about 3 months ago, it's my first time ever creating a website and I'm doing it all on my own with no experience... It is a hip hop website, the homepage is simple because the main feature of the site is the hip hop news blog... A couple weeks ago I was showing up in search engines when people searched for various different hip hop keywords, but now it won't show at all! I even managed to sell some cd's on amazon.. I never got that high in the search rank for "Hip Hop Media", I was on page 5 when I searched it in google, but now I'm back at page 11 or so (probably lower, I don't even check now)... Please, somebody tell me what I can do, I keep updated as much as possible with new content and music, but it seems pointless when I google Hip Hop Media and see websites that don't even stay updated for weeks at a time show up way before me... What should I do? All answers will be appreciated!! If there's any way I can return the favor please let me know and I'll do what I can. I highly recommend a url related to the keywords you're looking to rank for. Something like hiphopmedia.com Anyway, here's an SEO report for your the hiphop media part of your site: You have no meta keywords. That's a huge problem right there! Even though Google doesn't look at keywords, other search engines and site do so it's quite important. You need more time until your domain expires. Google puts more trust into sites that are going to be around longer. You should always have more than a year on your domain until it expires. Your domain is less than three months old. You've probably become Google sand boxed. You have be VERY careful how much off-page SEO you do for a site in the first three months. Google doesn't tend to rank new sites very well. Sites don't really start to rank until they're six months old. You need more back links, but be careful as your site is so young.
I would have made a domain name like that but I wanted to create a "brand" I guess.. for example I want to have a CronikGamer website, and various other topics.. I didn't know how hard it would be though... but I'm willing to try. Thanks for the review, I really appreciate it..
