Hey, I made a website a few months ago only because playing the stock market is a hobby and I really enjoy it. So I added a few tools on my site, (its not the best looking site, but I hope I can get some reviews here). Anything I should add or remove? (I'm not a graphics designer either, i just used regular html coding). I also added a forum a week ago, and again, I'm totally new to it so hope it's not that bad.
Actually looks ok. a few kind suggestions: 1. Try to "organize" links and text a bit more, they seem to be scattered around along with your ads. 2. Your three main links ("Home" ,"News Blog" and "The Trader's Lounge Forum") are way to colorful try to use the same font color, size for all three and try to keep consistent space between them. 3. The text "The Stock Market Website" is hard to read try to use a color with a better contrast I'd use the blue that's in your logo. 4.Try to center your three columns, it will look sharper. hope that helps
well... plz use transparent google search button... font is not looking good change it... otherwise ok.
If your focus is just the tools of your site, then its fine, but the design is, frankly, very very outdated. Looks like a geocities website more than anything.
Your website is attention-capturing and the design looks good according to the market of the site, my suggestion to you is to add a border by the sidebar change the fonts at the top menu bar to a similar color
I like your site, my silly suggestion would be to change the red font above your donation button and for some reason I personally would not tell customers to click the ads, I am new to adsense so I don't know what is and what isn't but i am sure that someone here knows, would be horrible if something happened to your adsense, but thats not about your site is it. I do like your site!
I like your idea behind the site. Im also fond with stock market and I kinda relate with it.. Great design, maybe blend things more. Also I think you couldve had picked a better domain name
I'd advise to redo the whole layout... it's difficult to read and navigate... try to make it clean, use a basic template, there're loads of them for free.
One way of making the website not so busy is to balance the use of fonts/colours. Maybe pick one or two and then either change the size or make bold for effect, rather than going for 4-5 different colours and fonts that gets a bit "noisy". Good luck with it.
