I decided to build a new website (VKED.com), so more or less totally out of boredom, i thought i'd make it some kinda portal in which has multiple tools. So currently it's a search engine (using yahoo's results, though planning to dump that), image host, url shortener, and downloadable web templates. I'm trying to keep the design simplified as possible; have a suggestion? please post it here, or PM me!. thanks in advance, Danny
I like the design. It's simple yet has the touches needed to not be plain and boring. The only thing i can think of is in your logo "Simply, explore." I think you should remove the "," to make it "Simply explore". It's more correct to write it like that. Also if you can make a dropdown menu for Services, that will be good too. Good job.
The design is simple but I think it will work well however, I think the logo should be more prominent.
I like the design. It's nice and simple. Maybe you want to move the search bar a little bit down so it's more centered to the page.
Hi 1) Your alignment is not proper. 2) Looks empty. 3) make your site center align. or make 800 * 600 layout. Due to you dont have more content.
It's not bad but it's a bit sparse. Consider adding some of the templates on the home page (as examples). Also, you should change the colors of your domain name font. It's too hard to read the letters. Best of luck with your venture!
Looks pretty good. Wasn't a big fan of the placement of "Web News Images" above the search box. Maybe if it were tabbed or closer.
