I would appreciate any opinions on my website cryptofgore.com it also has a blog when you click articles, but has a different look. Is it affecting my website do you think since its not really the same layout?
The design of the header could be better and I think you should add more content to the landing page.
Use a sans serif font throughout the webpage. Serif fonts are nice for business letters, but it makes webpages look like they were made in Word and just posted to the web. Very cool banner, though. It might be useful to put teasers of each link below the blurb you have now. Ex below what you have now list a link Horror DVDs, then below that have some links of DVDs, etc. Makes landing page a little more useful and less empty looking
The blue link and the black background doesn't really work well, I think like the guy above me said you need more content on the front page, there is a very big blank and black space on the lower part of your page, if your not putting anything there it doesn't need to scroll.
Try to get more contents added in so that you can fill the huge empty space in between. You can also consider adding navigation links on the left sidebar.
Yes good design....Not enough content...on home page and Horizontal scroll bar in Home page is not good...
Okay I agree with you guys on the big space at the bottom. But what should The article or content be about? that I put at the bottom. For example a 400-500 word article on ??? Also changes made to date, I got rid of the blue links, changed them to red. And changed the font to Sans Serif. Let me know what you guys think.
Good start for a website, with great potential. This is definitely a niche market that can be quite profitable, however, it is all about presentation and INFORMATION. I would definitely create more content for your site. Articles that are designed to boost your readership, such as information about horror movie directors, actors, best horror movies of 2005/06/07/08/etc., "Why (INSERT MOVIE TITLE) was a hit/disaster/etc." There are literally hundreds of content ideas you can put on your site to make it informative and entertaining. There is a lot of empty space on the site, which can be filled with high-quality content and images. I would love to speak with you about writing content for your site because this is an area that I am absolutely in love with!
