Okay, I'm just going to look at the front page, because i think you need to work on this first...

the logo is okay, but could be more interesting.

I would make the main introductary paragraph stand out more "Welcome to AtTheBoard
Free articles for your website, newsletters, and other publications. Submit your articles to share with the world. read our guidelines to learn how to start submitting articles today!"
    - maybe put it in a light grey box or something, it didnt jump out at me.

The Google search being way over on the right looks weird.

I'd change the colours on the google ads so they fit in with your site- i.e. they stand out too much atm. and also align the right of the verticle ones correctly with the right hand side of your page.

Can you split up the categories on the left into more general categories? that is a big list to look through.

I like the concept, not so original but nice clean site which works well and navigates easily. thats all for now i think....

....actually also maybe make the bit below the article advertising the person who wrote it a bit more obvious maybe? and let them add an image or something? this might increase people's willingness to add.

Also I would watch the quality of the articles. one i went on was a huge block of text, not very readable. should be split up at least into paragraphs, preferably with things like bullet points and maybe diagrams where appropriate?

    hope that's helpful.

I would also add images and stuff to make it more interesting. Right now it's boring, and doesn't wanna make me read whatever's on the page.

It's my impression or your articles are not "unique content". Are you using article generator programs?

Sorry, the holliday/weekend pulled me away, too much football.

The articles I get from another large site that I have an agreement with to get them on an automated basis. I am not much of a designer, more programmer... Would something like a comments section and user ratings be benefitial to add?

    That's okay,

I suggest you get a designer to do you a design based around how the current site is layed out, so you can pretty much put the images in and make it look a bit more interesting?

User ratings as in to rate the articles? this would be good if you could then view the article categories by "quality". Comments section, I'm not quite sure what you mean. where?

I was talking about rating each article, and then they could find highest rated by category.

Are you talking about adding images to the layout around the ads, or just more images in general? Maybe themed for each category?

    yes that's what I meant also :)

they do say great minds think alike!

erm....with the images, I meant a website redesign, but any decent designer would be flexible enough to do you something that fits within the existing layout, so hopefully you should just have to modify some existing layers etc to implement the images that form the design, rather than havin to do loads of work completely changing your site...if ya get me :)

When someone clicks on one of the links on the left hand side, on the following page, ad an adsense horizontal half banner, it should convert well there.

Also had some color. I agree with the person who advised pictures, it needs something to grab the reader!

I suggest you giving a nice design to the site with images and colours. There are too many Google ads and it seems as you would like to focus on getting hits on those rather than your own content

I agree with all of the other comments. Try using a different font for the headlines too, maybe make it a bit larger. Create more space between the article summaries.

Well, a common information site, rather classical I suppose. What i did not like there is font. That Times New Roman looks too... old. I would change it for at least Arial. and of course, the lack of images on the left side. There should be at least some icons, i think. Too empty, too texty :) Though all the rest is good, quite professional. Congrats!
