Looks good. It's professional and easy to follow.

My only suggestions would be to make the ebook previews a consistent size and to consider caching the homepage since it's a bit slow to pull those from the database. Since some of ebook previews are not big enough, they would need to be re-sampled and re-sized to look good.

You might consider a free script I just released that does just that. It even works for files on another server or domain. There's no catch. You just copy/paste and configure it (only a few lines of PHP code) and update your image links accordingly. It makes a world of difference.

    I hope that helps! ;)

    Thanks puravida,

I will look into this issue seriously. As per today, I haven't have time to look into performance issue yet. I may spend some time to fine-tune the overall performance issue as soon.

Thanks for your free script, I will look into this area and try to integrate with my store. For current system, I have break my image file into 3 area:

    1) Small image. (Use in Monthly Special Product & Left corner New Products)
    2) Middle image. (Use in detail page)
    3) Large image. (Use in detail page "Click For Larger Image")

Hopefully after I implement those changes, the overall performance can be improve by 100%...

    Thanks mimm,

Think that this design is nice..I have created another design which is the same template but in green color by changing the css stylesheet. This is quite easy to change it.

Another good thing is I have spend some time to increase the loading time by at least 25% from previously. I have indexing the database and switch off the heavy load category count in this template. It should gain some performance when you first load the page by at least 25%....Will look into this area seriously later.

    Nice!
I would like the top banner to have a little larger font-size though. I clicked the "adsense"-link directly when I saw it, but I nearly missed it due to the small size.

    Thanks All,

I just want the site look simple and have clean navigations. I am currently still look into the performance issue that most of the visitor complaints that the loading time was too slow. Eventhough I have make some changes in the database script but the overall performance have been increase by 25% now.

I may try to get it done to load the first page less than 2 seconds to improve the overall performance issue.

    Hey thedigitalstreet,

This is an old thread and i wasn't notified of replies, but I thought I'd mention that your site does already seem quite a bit faster. Kudos!

    Cheers,
