To be fair, the design is pretty good. Nice colour scheme, good image designs, fast loading pages, also I haven't come across any bugs while browsing the site. The only problem I would address, and I don't know whether I could class this as a problem is that the website seems so empty, even with the acknowledgement that you have only launched, the website seems still really empty. I think what you should do is add some unobtrusive adverts on each page, and also have a relevant image on each page, to fill up the white space. Underneath your logo and menu, there appears to be a blue strip running across the whole page, I think this could be used a little more productively. For instance the text which says, "Need a freelancer, or do you need work as freelancer? We have it all for you! Register at NeedFreelance.com today!", this should link to your register page, making navigation even easier for people who are generally new to the web. Remember one of your main demographics will include people who are not web savvy, and because of this you want to make your website appealing to dummies. I think the main issue for you would be to market and promote your website a little more to gain more content, and to also revamp your layout a little to fill it up more and make it look a little more popular than it actually is. If you do decide to use advertisements, be sure not to use too many, you don't want to scare people away, keep them unobtrusive and relevant at all times. Good luck with your website, and I hope my review helped a little.
I like it, just signed up and bookmarked, hopefully it will become a nice resource for some work. Great Job!
Hi all, Thanks for responses.. I really hope that this site can be good If you want to support me, you could tell your friends, parents, dogs or cats about my site to get visitors.. You could also visit the "Support Us" page All text is parsed by a language file, so it's easy to translate the site. Later, there will be many other languages on the site. @vijayan: You mean a system, so employees can pay the freelancers directly from the site? Atm. the freelancer and employer has to find out how they will pay by themself, but later, I will maybe add a function like you mentioned if it was that you ment.
Yes, I meant the same ... If there isn't payment sending system in your website then you won't have nice profit... Getting 2% from every transaction is really nice idea in GAF..LOL As well without escrow it is hard to beleive in someone..
@UKWebmasterForum: Wow... Thanks for your wonderful response. Nice that you want to use some of your time to give me feedback on my website. I will listen to you, and make a link on the orange text in the top. I will also put another google ad in the bottom of the page. Got 10 credits on iStockPhoto, so will look for some stockphotos to put on the page. @simplyg123: Thanks for your response! Nice with more users, especially when they bookmark my site Thanks. @vijayan: I will put a payment system on the page.. In the beginning just a paypal, but I will buy a payment gateway etc. later, if the users will use it.
your website is excellent. you did a good job at this age. but try to put more important contents for more people to visit your website.
I think I was too busy playing video games at 15 to do anything productive. I work with people who have been in IT their whole career, and I'd imagine they could not put this one together. Good site, keep it up!
I like the site design overall. Nothing cluttered, easy on the eyes. Definitely a site I'd stay awhile at - which is exactly what you're wanting. As far as the text goes, "let's" doesn't need an apostrophe. Also, the comma after project isn't necessary. The last line - I'd change the period after all to a dash, then make the "i" in "It" lower case. Hope that's helpful! You are very gifted in design! Auntie
@auntie: Thanks for the help.. Sorry my spelling/gramma mistakes, I've only had english for 5 years in school.. Nice that you like the site @vijayan: Thanks
