Hi, I have recently launched my web designing and development agency ExtensiveWeb.com. So please review my website and give some suggestions. Thanks
- First impressions: Nice, clean layout, web 2.0 like. - I used Firefox 3.0.7 on Windows 2003 to look at your site. - Homepage: The "creativity" would look nicer if it was in a separate "block". You know, the rounded rectangle blocks you often see on web 2.0 kind of sites. - Portfolio: - In portfolio, it would be nice if you had a link to the websites you show. At least, that was what I expected. I found it strange that there were no links. - When I go to services, I see 4 icons on the right: "Ps, Fl, Dw". What are they about? I've never seen them before.. Also, the drupal icon would be better if you put the text "Drupal" below. - Only after I had been on the site for 10 minutes, I found out that if you click on the 2nd row buttons, the text would change above them. I found that cool, but isn't there any way you can show the user that these buttons are "interactive"? Maybe, if you hover over the buttons, the text should change? - In portfolio, the left arrow button and right arrow button you use to switch between sites in your portfolio, are too small. I didn't even notice them in the first place (I thought there were only 3 sites in your portfolio). Later I saw them when I was looking for a link to the sites. - Your spelling is not always good (english). For example, about page, "Currently --their-- are three people working in this agency"
lol wasnt expecting such wonderful suggestions! Your suggestions will definitely help me a lot. Thanks edit: those Ps, Fl, Dw etc are the logos of Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash CS3 and yes my english is poor but i tried to avoid any possible grammer and spelling mistakes but my bad lol. If you hover over those icons at bottom than they will fade out revealing text at the top!! Thats how i made them interactive. Can you see that fade out effect?
- About those Ps, Fl, Dw etc. logos, I think it's wise to put the words "Photoshop", Dreamweaver and Flash CS3 beneath them (also good for your SEO..). - Yes, I saw the fade out effect, and I found that it was cool! But as I said, I only found out later.
I'm using FF browser and looks clean and effective website , yes web 2.0 looks but you need more text content to make SE spider indexed your site more easy
Yeah i am going to add some customers reviews and announcements section. I am also planning to open a blog!
