Your Forum have nice look & Content.
This is my suggestions,
1. Reduce the height of Header Banner
2. Replace Lower Pop up window from Left to Right

 

I agree. The top banner of your forum is way too high. On my screen your first Announcements forum appears almost at the bottom of my screen.
I'm also not a fan of pastel colors so my advice would be to use a more vibrant color scheme.
You do have a good range of topics.

Your website has a much better look to it than the forum. The top banner is the right size.

Overall a good start.

i reviewed your website directory website. It's a great, well designed site which will surely be a success. What i suggest is maybe paying people to submit their website so then people will be more eager to submit their site as others and doing it and they know it's legit
