Just to say, the layout seems significantly misaligned on Ubuntu, check it with browsershots.org.

what I can do with teh graphic is room it to the left so that the block lettering is to the right of the little man. Is it too cartoonish?

The site is not bad, I think the header could be better, and I think you should change
the color scheme.

 

It would probably be sweet if I could read anything on the page, but I don't think the layout is as bad as everyone is saying. Its simple easy to navigate, a confusing site will only make the person hit their back button faster!

 

I think I might change the logo. the graphic makes the site look kiddy. I dunno yet but thanks for the feedback.

Nice if you ask me but why is the three boxes down there with text

Events/Announcements, Classifieds, polls or other. Its just so that I can have the programmers outline for me.

 

I like it 8/10 from me where 10 would be perfection

I think the design is a little basic, maybe the corners should be softened a little
