    I recently re-wrote my webpage - www.TruckTechniques.com

I am very interested in a critique from the members here at DP. I am new here but my skin is pretty thick

I am ready to do some advertising for this site and would love to see what the pros think.

I am having a logo created (thanks 313i) and that will be placed on the main page in place of the four images in the white portion of the page.

    Thank you in advance!

    Joe

I think you should create some sort of button for your product images.

I'm not sure what you mean by button?
If you click each image, it opens another window with a larger version of the image, is that what you are referring to?

How about instead of a button. a little blurb like "Click image for Details"..

Thanks to 313i, I now have a company logo that will be taking the place of the four pics.

I would add some text to the home page befote the Picture of the truck parts

I’m guessing you have not gotten the logo yet?

I clicked on the ads by Google as I thought it was a link to truck coolers on your site. They blend in very good, maybe to good.

Why not have a link in the top menu that says product page?

The site has very few products if it was me I would either try and come up with more products or add articles to he site to make up for the lack of products.

    The site design looks good.

I would add my contact information to the bottom of every page.

I have the logo, I am looking to make a small revision before using it on the website.
A link to product page? Maybe have that page and list the products available as well as the links I have on the left panel?

I am always looking for new products to add. I am currently researching manufacturers of some other flamed/hotrod type merchandise to add :D

    Thanks for the review :D

We're building a mustang site now that offers after market parts for mustangs. I wonder if there is anyone like that for trucks or even an affliate you could sign up with.

Hotrod type stuff is also really good. If you have enough really good stuff on the site then they will bookmark the site and keep coming back. :D

    thanks.
I have affiliate accounts at two parts manufacturers now, but the trouble is I don't want to add that content to this page. They dropship and I don't want to mix items I stock personally and that I drop ship.

Personally, I think that if you are selling a physical item on the internet then you shouldn't have advertising such as Adsense. This is just my opinion, and I wouldn't see anything wrong with tasteful affiliations, but contextual advertising just seems a bit tacky to me. I wouldn't buy from your site.

I started a thread on this very topic as well. There is a diverse opinion here it seems :D

I'll have the ads run a week or so and see how it goes...

Over the weekend, I had a new logo created and uploaded it to my site.
I saw a difference in the yellow/orange color I was using on the site navigation buttons and changed them to match the new logo.

Do you think it is too 'yellow' for my site?

I am currently working on adding a PRODUCT page link as well as 3 new products to my lineup...
