    Hello,
    I have had my financial/investing blog for around three years. I am ranked well (2-3) for a few keywords, but I only average 17-20 organic visitors per day. I realize content is everything in 2016, but is there anything else I am doing wrong?

    Also:
    How do you guy generate idea on blog posts?

    Should I be using pages or blog posts?

    Thanks! I appreciate any and all input.

    Who wrote your theme?
    They didn't read the bit about how to link to external js and css files?

    Your writing? It seems quite good but where it wraps around the images it gets a bit narrow and awkward.

    Did you mean to post edit links?

    You need to get in there and edit it.

    Get into the theme or the plugin that is spewing all that css and js onto the page and put it in separate files and use something like

    wp_register_script( $handle, $src, $deps, $ver, $in_footer );
    Code (markup):
    or talk to the people who sold it to you and ask when the upgrade that does that will be available. let them know that it's not acceptable for a paid theme

    I imagine they'll blame it on customers who lock out their plugins folder in robots.txt but, again, that's not a good enough reason.
