My website : www.watchonlinetvforfree.com is still under construction so please review and give hits/tips that you may have. In particular i have used a couple of spider simulations and and the results are horrid. Nothing in the body of the site is indexed. i have the body embedded in a table so i am wondering if thats the problem. I have made other websites before but for this one i am using nvu and i am relying heavily on tables to align my content properly. Should i not be doing this?? Also, can anyone comment on the text to code ratio : is it decent (using my index page or www.watchonlinetvforfree.com/watchgenerationkill.html as a measure). Note : My previous alias on here was Barginator. However i lost my password and i no longer have the domain name that had the email address associatiated with it. It sux, but no big deal (i only had about 400 posts). So hello to everyone that know me.
Ok nevermind the indexed/table question, i figured it out all on my own (actually the tool i was using wasnt working so i found one that does). But i would still like someone to review my site; in return i will review yours as well.
the text does not fit in the orange "borders" of the site. you need a logo, not random pictures at the top of the page. a logo looks more professional. there is a space at the bottom of the table like where the yellow bg from the vertical menu and the footer meet, it looks tacky. alittle more than halfway through the index paragraph the text randomly changes its font size. i think overall a new professional layout and logo will do wonders and solve all of these problems.
I agree a logo is more professional. In fact just using more graphics would be a better idea. Also less adsense blocks. Im sure with a well designed site and a more subtle advertising method you could generate the same amount of income.
I don't really enjoy the design of you website. Seems like it was made in the 90s. You might wan't to link into wordpress or even just search "Open Source Templates" and you will find better looking ones than that. I am sorry to be so harsh but just you won't do to good with that design.
