I like the mini icons you've used on your site. I would suggest creating a thick bar on the top of your page and placing text on it (to create a header). The rest looks great though

 

you need a background and separate the background and teh body area with a drop shadow or something when i went to the site i thought the site was too slow and not loading but that was the full site

yha i was confused since it didnt have a background i was like hmm is it still loading?...

 

I like the layout and the colors but the font size was killing me, would be nice if you increased it a little bit

 

We already increased the font size
But I'm thinking to add an option for users to choose a bigger font size, would it be enough to just be able to change the font size of the links (directory titles)?

-Put it on a separate page, or take it off completely.


Other than that, it looks pretty damn good.

 

I think you need to provide more space for the directory categories and less to the lower part. Your main categories look subdued do to the lower part being so prominent.

In general the directory site looks good after carrying out the suggestions laid down by other forum members. Of course the space between different directories requires a little more space...

Nice design although personally i think the design is too bland, everything seems to merge together and also the text is too small - i had the strain my eyes to read the text...

I didn't know about that.

 

Directories are usually just based on 1 or a couple of keywords (hence your directory categories). Having an about page allows you to write proper sentances and put those keywords into context. Google loves proper sentances It also provides some added information for your visitors.
