Please review my web design tutorial site

I would specifically like feedback on two things:

1) The design, colors, logs etc.
2) The actual content - does is make sense/easy to read?

This design is beautiful, I love the simplicity of your site. Nice colour contrast, logo and layout. Basically header graphic is very good. Definitely it’s very helpful site. Overall I like your site.

 

Thanks for the feedback, it's appreciated. It's still a relatively new site so I'm in the process of building up a bank of tutorials to help people out with their own web sites.

 

Design is simple and clean. wouldn't you use CMS like Wordpress?
It's easier to manage and wide in theme. with a lot of choices.
I like that logo anyway

 

Thanks for the input. I might have a look at the layout of some wordpress themes and try to recreate them on my site.

Currently I have set up a simple MySQL database and wrote a couple of PHP scripts to act as a very simple CMS. Only about 1k of code so loads very fast rather than using a full on wordpress solution.

the site is good but design is look to basic, you can used some CMS like Wordpress, you need to have more features like releted pos, different banned place, comments and other things like this. The logo is ok you can used some effects.

1. for the design, it has simple / minimalist design.... i think it's better if you change it with mainstream design... like normal blogs,
and actually i think you should choose another color of your website... maybe dark blue and white is good.
2. For the content, it's easy to read... and understand-able...
