Please review my unique Funny Fake Photo Generator

Hi All,

I'd like to know your impressions about one of my websites:

Write On It

It Allows you to create fake photos and a new version is coming up soon wich will allow you to create fake magazine covers using your photos.

I find the idea quite original and have not found many site which allow a similarg thing except LetterJames which now charge a fee to generate a photo.

Let me know your comments ! The site is doing really well in europe with 5k unique per days but we can't manage to attract USA traffic

Is there a way to make the text scale better? Line breaks seem to loose the effect in the image.

ServerUnion: I'm not sure I've understood the problem anyhow in the new version we're using textarea for the input so the user can decide where to break the line

 

I was trying to use my band name "dragdown" (shameless plug www.myspace.com/dragdown1 ) in the images and instead of scaling the text to fit it would break it to the next line.

 

2 questions, do you mind if people download the pic to have on their site instead of linking to it, and do you mind if people crop off the link from the bottom of the photo?
I think people are likely to do that, and I am sure that you dont own the copyright to all of the images, so could you complain?

The site itself is great, and I think it will be very popular, I haven't seen anything like it.

Yeah more would be great. Could have some seasonal ones, xmas, valentines, sport related ones, old film stars maybe.

I thinks there's a spelling mistake in the nav bar; you mean to say RECENT CAPTIONS.

Thanks so much for your kind comments, I'm really happy about them !!

We're surely going to add new photo but we'll first have to redesign the site a bit to make the content more compact and allow to create multi category photos. I'll let you know on the forum as soon as we manage to do this

We surely don't mind if you save your photo, it unload our server so we're just happy about it.
If you want to remove the url ... we're more happy if you keep it obviously but we don't mind if you remove it
