Maybe you could add more images? as it is a travel blog, beautiful destination images would attract more readers.

 

Okay so a travel blog.

Unfortunately, the template doesn't fit for a travel blog. Also travel blogs would need more images, perhaps a gallery page and throw in a bit more on the homepage and a bit of redoing the background and header image would really help.

You would also need to brand you blog by creating a logo for it. Makes it a bit more personal rather than generic looking.

You should also add more widgets and use them efficiently, even widgets such as the weather on certain areas help for someone who travels.

Blogs should really focus more on user experience and not just for the sake of doing SEO and getting a high PageRank.
