    Hey there,
    I just had a look at your meta description and it looks like you used your meta description like if it was the meta keywords tag. In the meta description you should enter a relevant description of your site and the services offered on your site. Limit your meta description to a maximum of 165 chars.

    Also make sure you include search phrases/keywords in your meta description, meta keywords and even title tag for searches you would like to get traffic for.

    Another thing you should write your company name in the ALT tag for the site logo and then wrap that image with a h1 tag. Trust me... you could actually also include some keywords in the alt tag but dont go crazy just maybe 2 - 3 keywords/search phrases spaced with a comma and After the name of your company.

    Safe in what ways? we do use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology and i believe our servers are secured enough + we use safest payment method PayPal! anything else am i missing?

    Thanks for your heads up! much appreciated i actually forgot to add meta description...earlier it was just to fill space! I am in 2 views about Wrapping Logos with an H1 tag after reading this http://www.chovy.com/accessibility/wrapping-logos-with-an-h1-tag/ ? though i have added some keywords in alt tag

    Hello rufh_s,

    Your furniture website has multiple opportunities to improve conversion. I don’t know what the conversion rate presently is, but I can only assume, from looking at it, that it is unacceptably low.

    Here are 2 significant areas where conversion could be improved.

    Depending on whose research you believe, you either have 3 seconds, or somewhere between 4 and 7 seconds to answer 2 questions. (The most compelling evidence is on the side of the 3 seconds). The first one is “What can I do, buy or get here”? This is very unclear what you sell when the visitor first arrives at your site. You have no tagline and your photos are small. The second question is, “Why should I do business with you instead of your competitors”? Keep in mind, the new visitor, in the first 3 seconds is not making a decision to buy or not to buy. He is only making a decision to stay or go. He can do that in a nanosecond. Your site doesn’t provide this at all. You need to have a Unique Value Proposition. The UVP has to be exceptionally clear, visible, unequivocal and understandable. Clarity trumps clever. Clarity trumps persuasion.

    The reason for this is very understandable. The furniture space is extraordinarily competitive. If you don’t differentiate yourself, you can’t convert. You have 3 seconds to differentiate yourself in a brutally competitive space. Your UVP is your only opportunity. Very simple and very clear. Then, at least, you’ve got a shot.
    Second, your About Us page is very impersonal. It should have a photo and story. People want to know who they are dealing with. People want to do business with people, not with websites.

    As I said, there are multiple other conversion issues on the site. Addressing the these issues above should have a positive effect on the website’s conversion rate.

    firstly sorry for the delayed reply! and thanks for the suggestions...as far as conversion is concerned this site is very new i have not even started promoting the idea was to take tips from pro online bloggers/ marketers with your suggestions i feel my job "completed" :) off to make some / "above" changes

    btw: don't know if you checked or not but about page got an image if you click that you get through company's brochure may be i should mention it?
