I like it, the only thing I'm not keen on is the signup window popping up. You should do some conversion rate figures and see if it is profitable to keep it that way. I always preferred the black background; the way you have it setup, it makes for easy reading. Nice job on the design.

Depending on what CMS your using check to see if their is addon that deals with this.. I will research it for you but you can setup the signup so it display after x amounts of visits. This way it does not turn away new visitors but it still gets the word out for returning visitors. The returning visitors are your target audience.
