Hi,
I am no expert in web design but I am very interested in stocks and finance.
The first thing that strikes me when the site loads is the advert for tooth whitening. Now that's great if you are running a site for a dentist but not relevant in this case and it should definately not be more striking than your own logo.

Secondly I would have stock information in the top right rather than showing how many facebook fans you have. To be honest most people that deal in stocks and in finance in general couldn't care less about facebook and how many fans you have on there.

Overall I love your site and I have bookmarked it as a favourite for future visits and please don't think I am being overly critical, these are just things I thought it very important for you to know.

Your blog is really good in way of design but there are few things you need to correct if you need to make it a perfect stock market blog.

 

Agreed I was using adbrite to monetize but they pay nothing and ad unrelevant ads. Have changed it if you go back may look more appealing. What kind of stock info would you think I should add. Thanks for the criticism it is what I wanted to help improve my website.

Looks better already although on reflection I would centralise your header and take out the top advertisement so that it does not take away from your own header.
Remember that your header is your introduction to your business!
In terms of what stock info you should have; take a look at finance(dot)yahoo(dot)com/ down the page on the left is a market summary. That would be perfect for an initial viewing.

Helps a lot will look at ways at centralizing Logo and adding more financial data.

 

i think it is very good website but the logo of the website is not proper and as the web site is about the walstreet journal it must be having the content about the stocks and other similar products but it do not seem to have some related content on the web site .

Why do I need Google Adsense, got banned last year from Google Adsense for no reason that I know of and they refused to tell me so moving on with other things.

 

I do not pretend to understand this subject of stocks and trading, however my sister does and I have sent her a link to your site, with all of this detailed information. I am sure you will be able to help guide those who are wondering what to do in this economy. I will start brushing up my knowledge about this subject from your site

We would make the featured article small and give an interduction to your blog.
Also some links can go to a second page, do not try to have all in one and
overload with information. What is the aim of your blog?

 

Aim of my blog is just a stock and investing blog I post daily about markets.

 

So you want to inform investors, be more specific then,
give them more than they can see on cnn or bloomberg!
