Please review my sports related website ad placement

My ads are placed on the top of the page. Is this a good placement for them?

I personally dont like the ones above the header it pushes the page way down and will be discouraging to visitors , if you still wanted to use them increase the header height and slap two of the squares in there

 

It seems like it is a very well established forum. The ads up top bothered me some too. Your logo looks great, why "ruining" it by pushing it down so much? But at the same time I guess you tried many different options and probably this one works the best for you.

You can easily put 728X90 banners all over it. One instead of those 4, then another one under Cash Out Sports and above General Category and another one above Sports Handicapping Zone. What do you think?

Id ont like ads placed above the site header may be place them between categories (468X60 ad unit)
