Your biggest problem with your website, is that you have pop ups. You need to get rid of those. Also with your website, theres not much on it, it doesn't have a lot of content at all.

 

I don't think it is really good.

The design is pretty dark, I can't relate it to football much and I watch football a lot.

Too many ads that are completely unrelated to sports what so ever.

Pop ups are definitely a no-no and not only you have them but they look like they are from the 80's.

Sorry, but I would not pay $5 for it.

However, if you remove the pop ups and unrelated ads, add some content and maybe change the design a bit, I think it would look much better!

 

Yes, the pop-ups have to go. But a little tweaking and it can looks heaps better.
Add some you-tube videos, add some rss feeds, add some latest/breaking news, add links to related sites/sports teams/team member profiles,
show the seasons schedule/ standings.
Do a little each day and in 2 weeks ask me again.

I think it is a great idea but you should maybe use a graphic designer next time as it lacks design quality

 

Observations

• The pop-ups definitely have to go.
• The theme is a dark one, but still navigable. I find darker themes harder to navigate usually.
• A little bare of content, but you did say you had just finished it; keep adding content though.

I have no idea what it is worth. With a little tweaking it would be worth more though.

I think you should place news on main page below schedule, at least 2-3 fresh news.
Replace google adsense. You don't have enough traffic now. I believe that untill you have 30-50 daily visitors and a lot to useful content it adsense be profitable, but anoying for returning visitors.
Also you can an opt-in form and send newsletters with weekend schedule.

the design very Amateurish

if you bad with photoshop just try to make something very simple and clean, it always good and better.

Are you considered use wordpress?

 

All the popups just made me click straight off it. I think that you need to brighten it up by adding some photos, and maybe changing your colour scheme.
