Hello, can you comment please on my speed reading: http://www.speedreadingadvisor.com I will add a navigation bar to link to the blog, forum, websites directory and articles. Do you think I should add more graphics, another image or two to the web page? Any other tips for a better conversion rate will be appreciated. Thank you.
It looks like just another generic sales page... what I would do is place it in a real layout design... I always find these types of pages over hyped.
This page is my online salesman for this Speed Reading course, it is meant to show the benefits of the course and to call the visitor to act and buy the course. is this one over hyped? Anyway I will add a navigation bar as soon as the blog, forum and directory are ready.
This is indeed a layout many sales sites use, but I must admit that those layouts are very effective; and so far you got a great site for selling your ebook! (its a ebook I understood). In my view you're using just enough images Further, little remark: go down your page, completely to bottom, you'll see a blue border around the HTML valid icon ... add a border="0" attribute to the image tag to avoid that I hope this helped you a bit lol peace
I'd remove the W3C logos at the ver bottom of your page. Reason: People can click on them and that would distract them from buying your book. Remove all distractions.
I am afraid I don't have too much to comment about the site, since it is a site with a very specific purpose. What I can say is that given that specific purpose (to sell an ebook), it does a really good job. It is typical in the sense this is how most of the other marketing sites (sites trying to sell one specific product). Clicking on the link to buy takes straight to paypal. Thats good. The links on your speed reading blog (page2, category) don't seem to work. Good luck on the site.
A generic page form that would have me hitting the back button straight away. Perhaps take a little time to divide the text into defined sections, each chosen from a static side-menu or page bottom 'Next' link.
