I agree a little with david, looks a little cheap and you have too many features, I suggest start with a few features and grow from there, people will get lost really easily.

too many features is fine, as long it can be useful for ur member. BTw, i'm not in to ur logo. The flowers is just out of the social network theme. Also, the blue color in the header look cheap. Try some calm web 2.0 colour like the one in ur site background. There are many social networkin site nowadays, and to be succesful u must have something unique that others don't have it. Well, as far as features are concerned, all the feature are quite contemporary, and I think are integral part of a social app. My site name is linkpetals, that's why the logo has the flower touch in it. Well, there are indeed lots of social network sites, but the best part about us is that we are already a part of 2000 member group, and all of them are signing up in a weeks time. So as far as exposure is concerned, we have a ready made list of start up members. After that we intend to start some viral campaigns. Thanks for your honest feedback. Appreciate it.
i think there is too much link in the navigation bar. It's look complicated. Maybe a drop down menu looks good for nav bar.

You are right, there are too many social networking portal. But our portal is very live with many people working together to make the portal very interactive. We have some very unique features like Shoutbox ( using which you can broadcast your messages to all the users), games ( you can play games online, you can also add your own games and share with others. We also have a shopping module, where in we have collaborated with some famous painters, writers etc., to sell their products through linkpetals. Plus we have everything else that others have... . Besides I am always there to greet you once you sign up...
