www.computerforumz.org and www.computerforumz.org/forum BTW, could some of you help out with some posts in the forum
http://www.computerforumz.org/ locks great the banner is very nice and forum try to populate forum and try to put the banner in the forum
Yeah great banner. But I'd do something with the menu, perhaps put some bars as background template, because the menu looks a bit like ads to me at least and you don't notice the forums link right away as you land on the website... Good luck!
Hi giovanni, I think we could help you better if you'd let us know what your goals are with this website. Are you trying to build up traffic through the forum to make money from your site? Or is your forum the main money maker? Also which stage are you at with building the site? Is it the finished look or just first sketches? To me it was hard to figure out what niche are you marketing your site to. Is it people that are having specific problems with their PC, or people trying to make money on the Internet, or....? I must admit I loved the graphic at the top of your page, but your content below is... all over the map. I'd suggest to narrow down what you are offering to your visitors to a laser-targeted audience. It will be much easier to build traffic and convert visitors into buyers. Other than that I'd suggest: 1) Work on your Header text. So far there isn't any. It is a great idea to put a couple of sentences with the main Bonuses that you offer as well as state which major problem (problems) your visitors will quickly and easily solve by reading and using the content of your site. 2) Your navigation: "Feel free to navigate our website by using the menu on the left." - Your navigation should be so intuitive and easy to use that you would NOT need such instruction! If you feel you have to tell people what to click to navigate through your site - you FAILED!!! 3) You need to work alot on your site structure. Your visitors need to know where they are at all times. Right now when I click on your first menu button "Computer Forumz" I get to a page with another set of navigation buttons INCLUDING a link to your main page "Home Page". You should decide what to call that main page, a "home page" or "Computer Forumz". Besides I never know where "Computer Forumz" link will bring me, to your home page or to the actual forum.... 4) Under "Tutorials and Guides" I was expecting to see tips on solving PC technical problems, but instead I saw "Make money from home", "How to get traffic".... In order to actually read your traffic building tips, I had to click 3 times starting from "tutorials and guides". If you want people to read your content, try and eliminate amount of clicks to the minimum! We loose about 30% of visitors with each click. 5) What is the point of having two forums? Right now you have Web Forums and Computer Forumz.... To summarize it all I would strongly recommend to tighten up your business model, CLEAN UP your navigation system. Make it extremely easy to browse through the site with minimum clicks. Work on your header and page content. You also need to add key words/site description to your site's /head/ section. To convert your traffic into sales you need to be in position of authority. You have a computer related niche, so your site needs to look like it belongs to a PRO! Right at the moment this is not happening. I am sorry if it sounded a bit harsh. I think that with just a bit more efforts and time your site will look terrific and convert like crazy! Best wishes, astra P.S. Feel free to return the favour
I like the layout, especially the picture banner including the font for the text, what I don’t like is the spacing and typography.
Thankyou astra, those tips were the most helpful i have ever received, I will try to put them all into practice. BTW, I made the banner myself
I LOVE the look of the front page... but it seems to be there just "set a mood" - I wonder if going DIRECTLY to the forum and incorporating the "mood" in the top banner might be more effective. /2 cents
