Hello people,
I have just launched wipcruise, its a web directory for you to submit your links to free of charge.

Please also let me know what you think of the site as i will be making improvements based on your feedback.

WOW, that's useless.... at least until I zoom in 300% or more

Those absurdly undersized fonts are completely illegible on my system. Your surrounding graphics and borders are clean, your color choices are fine, but the fonts are made of nothing but /FAIL/. There's also "copy" on the first page a user lands on, which has the effect of making it look more like a squatter page than an actual legitimate website.

Code-wise you've got valid markup (I'm actually somewhat suprised - blame the other sites in this section of the forum for that) but nothing even approaching semantics. ALL of those anchors in the content area should be lists, and I'd be tempted to make them nested lists at that. You have nothing resembling a heading tag or semantic markup, meaning the page is going to index poorly at best, not at all at worst. You also seem to have some sort of oddball javascript trapping all anchors that looks to be doing nothing but /FAIL/. You want to count 'links' in-site, that's what your logfiles are for.

It's a Clint Eastwood/Lee Van Cleef western - and I'm not referring to "A few dollars more".

Have you just done a fresh install of phpBB? If not, you should at least change "yourdomain.com" to YOUR domain.

 

I suspect the site has already gone the way of the dodo since that's not what was there when I reviewed.
