Hi everyone. Looking for ideas on how to get adsense clicks on my site www.indiawestbrooks.com . I'm getting a good amount of traffic but one to no clicks daily. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

 

your ad placement and theme is really really bad you need to change your theme and layout and ads place like under the title

Thank you! Ya I see. I have a couple sites like that too but my site above is a fan site so it's mostly images. I don't think I can make a fan site and have it look like that. Or can I?

Most of the traffic for that site would be mostly young adults. Maybe lots of them are using adblockers or just avoid the ads.

 

Yeah,

Young adults are especially good at ad blindness, the way of avoiding your ads. If this is the case you will tend to get higher CTR if you have image ads.

Also when it is images you get a lot of traffic from image sites like Google images. Therefore the traffic shows that you got a visitor, but most of the time, the visitor is only coming for the image or to take it.

I can't see any ads on your site. General suggestion: Change your background to something more abstract or a color maybe.. or just have it fixed with no repeat!

 

Really? There are 3 ads. One on top 2 on the sidebar. Strange you don't see them. I changed the BG to a solid color and I'll see how that performs. Should I use just text ads or both?

The background is much better now.

Just experiment! Try text-only ads first and then if they don't work, change to image ads. You'll see how it goes!

 

Here are the ADs. Are you in the US? I dont know why you aren't seeing ads. Do you have ad block?

OK, the placing is good for the top ad strip and the ad at the bottom of the sidebar. The ad that's in the middle of the sidebar could be removed, I think it interrupts the user's experience with the site too much.

The ad type is also OK. Top -> text, sidebar's bottom ad -> image.

Could you share you traffic number and you clicks? It would help!

Your position of ads are not good. Please change the color of text ads and make the same color as background color. Put your ads between the post also.

Try to set ads on a place which visitor wants to click !
