It's been a very long time since I posted a review in this forum. Since then the site looks totally different. Revamped the main page, store, forums, and a lot of other things. Now I'm looking to see what all you great DP members have to say http://www.mcrparts.com
nice and clean design.. look classic, very good design to use for ford mustang website.. but why u don't seo the website? use "http://www.mcrparts.com/shop/Accessories/" instead of "http://www.mcrparts.com/shop/home.php?cat=248" so your website can better ranked in google.
I like the left navigation of the site, but the rest of the layout looks somewhat cluttered. I would suggest getting your header re-designed (maybe using a monochromatic color scheme on the header)
Think you can leave out the mission thingy, Guarantee, mailing list on the main section. You want pple to buy from you not read your mission statement! Keep the Guarantee, mailing list to the side. Also use to put in more brands name links on the main section, pple want to see the items and brands to buy.
Pretty good suggestion... I'll have to see if they have a hack for our shopping system that will do that
I'm not to sure... I think I may keep the header. I just redesigned that myself a few days ago. I'm yet to find another Mustang site with something even close to that
Ahhh, back already! I find the car pointing off page to the left in the top header takes my eyes away from the main content area. I would perhaps switch sides in that top header, the logo on the left, the car on the right (leaving the picture orientation pointing into the left), to unify how your eye will flow through the page content. Then, no need for your little logo above the left hand menu system. If the main goal of the site is sales, put those categories at the top, and the following beneath: Home Ford Mustang Forums User's Rides Event Photos Tech Articles Desktop Wallpaper Our Staff Or even integrate them all into the horizontal navigation across the top under the header where you have HOME | FORUMS | REGISTER (and you don't need a register button here too for the forums, it may confuse buyers who think they have to register to buy something.) Ditto on the seo'd urls. Good luck with your site! tasty
I like it too. The only thing I would change is the navigation. Left side: I would put products categories on top and other links beneath. I think "View Cart" and "Checkout" should be on top (in same line as Home, Forum, but maybe on the left side). Also you should consider mod_rewrite. All in all, very nice site!
I just looked at it, and its looking perfect, very clean extremely easy to navigate 10/10 Also I see a few people said you could use a new header, but I think it looks great.
Very nice looking website, it's well designed and fast loading. I suggest that you add in short product descriptions on the stuff you sell. This would entice more people to buy your products.
