I really like the logo design. For the overall layout, it looks kind of "flat" what I would suggest is to add some gradients on the tables and even the logo icon.

 

Ok cool thanks! I'm most likely going to redo the template. And maybe change the logo.

What do you think about the colors and such?

 

i like orange and i like your template. you can change the active links to orange and hover to gray in your nav bar. the shade of gray you used in the nav is too dark. maybe a lighter shade of gray would do.. you can also increase padding-right of your sidebar so that the ul list will center.

 

You are completely right. What was I thinking, I will definitely change that in the new update.

I like the design but maybe not have as many boxes. Like take away the left vertical lines from the sidebar. And maybe the boxes around the articles and just have a line between articles.
