    i maybe you should review edges in the top adsense and background color for the one in the right, it appears clear as a pub

    front page is too long, visitors don't need to go in internal pages.
    Adsense should not have border, should have background color same as page background.
    improve that and your ctr will improve a little.

    Just have 3 or 5 blog posts on the home page.
    Why not use Adsense Ad links somewhere near the banner?

    I think the ad's background should be the same color as the page's bg color
