Please review my site

    Hello DPers,

    Wondering if everyone would be so kind as to comment on some of the changes I have recently made to my flash games website:

    Arcade Cow

    Changes include: Added Nes Emulation, Removed pics next to adsense ads, AND added text based adsense ads on top of games.

    Also I removed some of the links pointing to the topsites that were previously located in the footer. This was done to slightly speed up the site as traffic was minimal from these topsites.

    Where to start really.

    The boxes look cluttered

    Sorry. The overall look of the site is cluttered. The boxes are boring and rather, dare I say it? Repulsive.

    I cant really think of what else to say. But overall it is an ugly design and if I were you I would consider totally revamping it.

    Sorry if you find the above harsh.

    Yes, it is cluttered.
    Following are my suggestions:
    (1) Let be the "Bill Cosby Fun Game" in Bold and remove underline and Hyperlink. Remove bold for "Flash Game Bill Cosby Fun Game" and make it 11 points and let the link be there.
    (2) Seperate each game with light gray boarder around.
    (3) Choose another blue color from blue family for background color for main headings of the game. Present color is very bright.
    (4) Remove Bold for numbers (left vertical under most popular, top player and cool links).
    (5) Change the color of logo. Cow is okey but it is looking very dull. Needs some revamping.
    (6) Slowdown the gif animation speed (left vertical).
    (7) Shift google search to top.
    (8) Remove banner from the header and place it somewhere in the body. If you would like to have it in header, leave equally white gap at top and bottom.

    i would also consider choosing a different google search box...the black background makes it look like a poorly made ripoff of the original google search..

    I do like the amount of content on the site though, lots of games to choose from is always a good thing.

    I will take it into consideration. What about if I removed the "Flash game..." line underneath the games descriptions?

    Your website looks crowded.Try to arrange the boxes in such a way so that over all the website looks neat.You could extend the matter to the next page or so.This is just my view point.

    I believe I may be in for a site refresh.

    Judging from the pointers giving, this will be happening sooner rather than later... ;-)
