I just started a new site and would like someone to review it for me. Tell me what I;m missing and so on.....It is a one deal a day type of site...Please visit http://www.oofew.com Thnx.
Hmm, I have never seen websites like this one. I guess the idea is pretty cool though. When I first went to that website I got a javascript alert box that told me the sale is closed for today. At first I had no idea what you were talking about and when I clicked OK and looked at your website for a while (it was confusing for me since you have a lot of stuff on one page) I started to realize what that alert box was trying to tell me. Then again maybe it's just me and my slowness I wouldn't use an alert box, I would use one of those cool message boxes that fade in after like 5-10 seconds and that message box should tell the people it's sold or closed etc. Also try putting terms of service and return policy on a separate page maybe? I would lose these: Have a Question?; Have a problem with your order? and put them next to the contact us button. Then you should have more room for tomorrow's item and descriptions and stuff so users wouldn't have to scroll the text. Just my ideas
The forst thing I propose to change is backgroud colour, and add the large banner at the top of your site
The text in your frames does not wrap using Firefox, so usability wise not good. Hard to really tell what you are supposed to do, or what the site is about. I would work on what the new visitor thinks. You will probably have a high bounce rate until your sites purpose is clear.
Nasty and cheap?... imnot-bright I appreciate your comments but as I mentioned in my thread, I would like to know what to improve upon...Unfortunately I'm only able to fix the site…I can’t do anything for your I.Q….sorry If anyone else has any constructive critique I would appreciate it.
You should add more graphics to the page and fill some of the negative space in the left column with some content.
merchant site for asian imported goods, that is the topic right ? Nice though, I like the direct style design.
