    First of all, I like where you are going with the design on your website, although one big thing I noticed was the background image.
    In my opinion the background image just stresses out my eyes, also, the background image obviously repeats it's self when you scroll down a little bit, which is a major no-no in web design.
    Next I found the hover on your sidebar to be a bit dark, something lighter than black. Also, the background image underneath your sidebar looks a bit weird, since that image is no where else on the page.
    Overall, I think you should make your website brighter, something that really stands out to the end user, your page is a bit dark for my liking.
